Job Position:
The primary role of this person will be to
- Responsible for driving long-term group quality strategy to complement the overall business and IT strategies. Communicates strategies, methodology, and tools to work group members, project teams, program management, and customer groups.
- Oversees the implementation of complex, mission and business critical systems in a production environment and manages application support to established service levels to facilitate the effective utilization of the systems.
- Sets direction and strategies on quality and operational guidelines, procedures, and standards to ensure appropriate consistency and quality in service level provided. Drives the implementation of continuous improvement activities including new tools and automation. Monitors progress towards business goals/service level agreements and adjusts assignments as necessary. Responsible for ensuring each reported problem/question is resolved by the group in a timely manner and tracked according to process standards.
- Partners with peer groups across geographies and in MSIT to ensure the supportability and quality of new application releases to production. Establishes and evangelizes production readiness and release criteria to project teams and program managers.
- Reviews project plans, project cost estimates, and monitors projects.
- Mentors and manages team members.
- Work on multiple simultaneous projects on the Platform
- Review of Scope and Vision document and identify dependencies of the project/s responsible
- Review Business requirements, functional specification, Technical specification for the project/s and provide feedback to the Analyst
- Create accurate project plan based on ROM’s, Manage Schedule for modules of the project/s
- Create Test Plan and get sign off from stake holders consisting of the following, In Scope, Out of Scope, Schedule, resources, Traceability matrix, Security Testing, Risk Management, exit criteria, Non functional requirements, E2E testing etc
- Responsible for Functionality, Integration, System, Regression, Performance, and Stress Testing
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the design, which results in more concise/accurate test case suites as well as addressing missed requirements and/or potential design shortcomings
- Drive and/or organized test case reviews with peers, other disciplines and incorporate the feedback into test cases for the project/s
- Drive Test Automation efforts in the group, provide suggestions and take the ownership to deliver on time with the help of the team
- Contributes to project planning, risk tracking and mitigation, and effective communication
- Timely and accurate entry of status, defect information and metrics to facilitate accurate/timely reporting
- Communicates test processes as described in test plan to project team
- Helps quantify risk and quality metrics for a project
- Impacts entire feature decisions across disciplines
- Raise issues and work through problems with project team.
- Able to independently work and estimate work assignments.

· Proficient in planning, writing, and executing test specifications.
· Experience writing solid bug reports and analysis
· Strong experience in driving and implementing Automation

- ITSM or Six-Sigma knowledge
Testing experience on Biztalk &Domain knowledge of B2B/EAI will be a plus
